Water does not wait for business hours, and neither does the phone.
Dried to the readings
Walls and floors are metered until they read dry, not until they look dry.

Extraction only
One job: getting water out of homes and drying them properly.

How Our Extraction Visits Work
Water extraction near you follows the same order in every city we cover: the source is stopped, standing water is pumped out, carpet and floors are extracted, then the rooms are dried and metered until the readings say dry.

- Moisture readings every visit
What Every Extraction Visit Includes
Seven steps in a fixed order, from stopping the source to the last moisture reading.
Source stopped
The water feeding the room is shut off or cut off, and power to wet areas is made safe before extraction starts.
Water typed
Clean supply water, gray water from appliances and dirty storm or sewer water are handled differently, so the source is identified first.
Standing water pumped
Inches of water are pumped out with submersible pumps and hoses so extraction tools can reach the floor.
Carpet and floors extracted
Weighted extraction tools press water out of carpet and pad, and hard floors are extracted with squeegee wands.
Moisture mapped
A moisture meter and thermal camera find the wet edge under floors and inside walls, and the map is recorded.
Drying set up
Air movers and dehumidifiers are placed for the size of the wet area, with baseboards or pad removed where water is trapped.
Checked until dry
Readings are taken on each visit, and the equipment stays until materials read dry.

What Homeowners Call Us About
Water heater let go
A tank that fails can empty dozens of gallons into a garage, closet or basement in minutes.
Washing machine overflow
A burst fill hose or a stuck valve floods the laundry and the rooms beside it.
Toilet overflow
Clean tank water can be dried; water from a bowl with waste in it has to be treated as contaminated.
Dishwasher or ice maker leak
Slow leaks under cabinets soak the subfloor and toe kicks before anyone notices.
Leak from upstairs
Water from a bathroom or unit above soaks the ceiling, walls and carpet on the floor below.
Wet carpet that smells
A musty smell means the pad underneath is still wet and needs extraction or removal.
Estimated Water Extraction Costs
Most water extraction near you is estimated at $1,200 to $4,000 including drying. One-room leaks can be an estimated $300 to $1,200, and large basements or dirty water an estimated $4,000 to $12,000. Work begins once you have signed off a written quote.

Why Homeowners Call Us First
Answered at any hour
Leaks happen at night and on holidays. The phone is answered and a crew is lined up whenever the water starts.
Dry is measured
Readings are taken on walls and floors at every visit, so equipment comes out when the house is dry, not when the calendar says so.
Source first, then water
The leak is stopped before extraction, so the crew is not drying a room that is still getting wet.
Quote in writing
You see the scope and the estimated cost on paper first, for a wet closet or a soaked basement alike.
Four Things Every Visit Includes
Source stopped first
Nothing is extracted until the water feeding the room is shut off or cut off.
Mapped with a meter
Wet areas are measured and marked, including inside walls and under floors.
Price on paper
The scope and the estimated cost are written down and approved before work starts.
Dry is proven
Equipment stays until readings match dry material, then the readings are shared.

Call (866) 914-0544Where can I get water extraction near you?
Water extraction near you is available in 367 cities across 42 states. Find your city below, or call (866) 914-0544 and your address is confirmed during the call.
How long does water extraction take?
Pumping and extraction usually take a few hours for a room or a basement. Drying afterwards typically runs three to five days with air movers and dehumidifiers, checked with a meter each visit.
Can wet carpet be saved?
Often, yes, if the water was clean and it is extracted within a day or two. The pad underneath is usually replaced because it holds water. Carpet soaked by sewage or flood water is removed.
How quickly can mold grow after a water leak?
Mold can start within 24 to 48 hours on wet materials in warm conditions. That is why extraction and drying should start as soon as possible after the leak is stopped.
Can I extract the water myself with a shop vac?
A shop vac can lift standing water from small areas, but it cannot pull water out of carpet pad or walls. Weighted extraction tools and a meter find and remove what a shop vac leaves behind.
Will a dehumidifier dry out a flooded basement?
Not on its own. Standing water has to be pumped and extracted first. After that, dehumidifiers and air movers together dry the basement, usually over several days.
